This piece was inspired by the fiery colors of Autumn when the wind was blowing and all the leaves were swirling around me in the air. It was that color and motion and wildness of nature that is captured here. It is acrylic paint with rusted metal, gold and copper leaf along with some twisted wire. It is painted on the sides so no frame is necessary.

I personally love this piece. It all started with a watercolor wash - which is the central portion of this that I glued onto the canvas and it grew from there. There is also material cut outs and the paint is acrylic. To me this depicts the energy and connectedness we all have to universal intelligence and the vibrant colors represent excitement, life and beauty.

I am absolutely in love with the images we get to see from space. It reminds me of how small we are in the vast universe! The colors, light and movement I find peaceful and inspiring. The photo doesn't show it well but it is embellished with Swarovski crystals for stars that make it very magical when the light plays on them!

This was a super fun piece to create! I always walk along the beach every morning if I can - and of course can not resist collecting things to incorporate into art! This piece has real horseshoe crab shells that are embellished with Swarovski crystals - and there is a small figure on the top one leading the pack! This is a whimsical piece that I hope brings a fun feeling and puts a smile on your face!

This was done from a photo a friend took in the garden of a hotel they were staying in. The colors jumped out at me and I just had to capture it! Nature is amazingly beautiful and for me colors like this brighten my day and uplift my soul. I hope you feel the same when you look at it!

This painting was done from photo I took from the a small country roadside in New England. It has many of my favorite things from color, water and nature to the calm and quiet feeling of the countryside. Hanging on your wall it's like a window to another place and time.

Birch trees, snow, sunset and circling hawks...a winter evening doesn't get more perfect! While I am not a huge fan of winter - I do love the calm, quiet it brings to the world and play of shadows in the snow. This was done from a photo I took while driving along a country road in North Carolina. It took my breath away and I hit my brakes and turned around to capture the image. I love animals and this beautiful horse grazing in a field of golden wildflowers ticked all the boxes for me.

This one done from a photo I took while bicycling around Nantucket. The homes and gardens there are so beautiful it truly is like being in a painting! As always here is the color and nature I love so much. I hope that it imparts to you a happy, content feeling!

I grew up by the ocean and still go take walks there everyday. Sometimes its calming, and other days the power of the waves is humbling. This piece depicts one of the humbling days :)

I love the playfulness and peacefulness of these beautiful fish. There is a local park near me with a huge pond full of them, and I enjoy watching their slow swimming which is more like dance - thus the title :) It calms me and reminds to stop and enjoy nature.
